Balneotherapy

Balneotherapy is designed to help and preserve our health, just as has traditionally been done in spas. At Inbeca we do so with flake ice fountains to benefit from the change in temperature after a sauna or steam bath, in cold rooms with an ice wall, infrared loungers with positive effects on the nervous, muscular and cardiovascular systems or in salt cabins for halotherapy or flotariums.

Health is the right balance between warmth and cold. Aristotle

Ice

The therapeutic purpose of ice fountains and cold cabins, or frigidariums, is to provide the greatest possible contrast between hot and cold in spa circuits, after you have had a sauna or hammam, to stimulate your whole body, causing a vasoconstriction effect that increases blood circulation.

Thermal loungers

Thermal loungers are the essential accessory for health resorts and to enjoy a relaxing moment after a hydrotherapy session, Finnish sauna, steam bath or frigidarium, and have a positive effect on the nervous, muscular and cardiovascular systems. They are heated to 38-39 ºC but can be regulated.

There must be something strangely sacred about salt: it is in our tears and in the sea. Khalil Gibran

Salt

Halotherapy, or salt therapy, uses salt’s properties to improve your health, especially your skin and airways. It has purifying, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and relaxing effects.

Salt cabin for balneotherapy

In a salt microparticle-saturated environment that reproduces the microclimate of the Himalayan salt mines, you can eliminate your toxins while relaxing.

Float tank for balneotherapy

In a flotarium or float tank, your mind and body disconnect, giving you an enormous sense of peace and well-being. When you float in a highly salty water-filled tank, you experience a pleasant sensation of weightlessness and disconnect all your senses.
